WHAT JEANS ARE RIGHT FOR YOU? PART 1 -ALEX

Ok, so the search for the right pair of jeans can be very hard, annoying, and long as hell. You can walk into any clothing store and be bombarded by a wall of jeans of different sizes, cuts, washes, etc. You can find a great fitting pair of jeans from anywhere from $30 to $3000, its all about how much you feel like spending. Some places I love to get jeans under $100 are kohl's, Gap, Maurices, vintage stores, bebe and lucky brand. Some places I love to get jeans over $100 are places like Guess, Saks, and Dillard's.

FYI all photos were found on google images..

Here are the main types of jeans-

This is where things can get kind of overwhelming, you have to find out what fits, colors, and washes look best.

The most important thing that I think most women have the hardest problem with is finding pants that make there thighs look good!!
The two most important things that make the biggest difference when it comes to the look of your legs are the wash, and cut.

When it comes to wash, and your afraid of your thighs looking to big you  need to stay away from jeans with a lighter thigh area, it will act just like a highlight and contour on your face, it will make it look bigger and draw more attention to that area.

When it comes to cut you do not want something that curves to much around your waist to thigh area, and then is just straight down to your calf. The picture can explain it better then i can. The best way to avoid this is to not purchase jeans that are very stretchy or a "stretch fit."

The last thing that can make the biggest difference is length. There should always have two different lengths of jeans in your closet, your flats length and your heels length because your legs will appear longer if you are wearing heels and have your jeans covering some of them. You never want your jeans to end when your leg does, try to get pants 2-4 inches longer then your leg so that you have more of relaxed fit.
TIP- if you have larger feet a great way to make them appear smaller is to wear a boot cut style jean, high heels and then have your jeans cover the majority of the heel to where your feel look smaller.

THIS WILL BE A SERIES OF POSTS ABOUT JEANS, STAY TUNED!!
